While doing the pen and ink project I thought that I should take my time and make it my best work possible. I took my time and fell behind the rest the class. After I had realized how far behind I was I worked faster and started inking by the end of the class period, but my art skills with a quill are a joke. I could not figure out how to hold its so it would stop splattering. Then my friend got a broken quill for me to use and so that did not help the situation. I went to the quill box and got my own, but I did not know that some of the quills were different so now I was using the wrong quill. I gave it my best shot at the hatching, but a lot of the hatching has blobs of ink on it. I was so far behind that I did not get a chance to take a picture o my final drawing. The final drawing does not look bad from far away, but it does not really look like the printed out copy if you get close to it. While drawing I felt like I had all the time in the world until Mr. Nelson said that we should be inking by now I had not finished drawing the roof of the church. I had to stop talking to the people around me and get to work. The next day I came in at lunch time and completed my work of art and turned it into Mr. Nelson. After I had finished it I was not satisfied with what I was turning in because I felt that I could have done better if I was not in such a hurry and I wasted my entire lunch time on that bad art work.
